About
Hi!
My name is Alexander.
But that doesn't matter.
What DOES matter is that I can help you reach your health and fitness goals following this maxim:
The best physique and health possible, in the least amount of time, with little-to-no chance of injury.
It's something I've probably spent far too much obsessing over, and I now want to share what I know.
I discuss Gut Health, HRT, Longevity, Bodybuilding, and Fitness with respect to the above maxim—with the ultimate goal of living a long, healthy life filled with, vitality, energy, and strength.
Alongside having a well-developed physique too, of course.
Compounding factors in my life ultimately fuel this obsession, which you can read about below.
If you're interested in reading about available coaching packages, please visit this page.
Currently only group coaching is available, however, more packages will be released in the coming weeks.
Nonetheless, if you happen to be REALLY interested in getting personalized coaching from me and KNOW I am the coach you specifically want, and you don't want to wait for package postings or you already know you want a custom package with certain elements to suit your needs, send me an email at coaching@healthandvitalite.com with subject line 'CUSTOM COACHING PACKAGE,' alongside your custom requirements and we'll work out a quote.
My Story in a Few Hundred Words
In 5th grade: I got diagnosed with Fructose Malabsorption.
The beginning of my interest in food and nutrition.
A devastating experience for someone who loves fruit snacks and sour patch kids, to say the least.
In 9th grade - Pt. 1: I asked my dad after track practice, "Dad, how do you get a six-pack?"
The beginning of my interest (okay, obsession) with weightlifting and exercise.
In 9th grade - Pt. 2: I took minocycline for bad acne and ended up with stomach ulcers, SIBO, and candida overgrowth.
Turns out I was allergic to the medication
The beginning of my interest in gut health.
In 14th grade: Okay, we'll call it sophomore year of college. I--stupidly, I may add--jumped the gun on anabolic steroids and have been prescribed TRT (testosterone replacement therapy) since then.
The beginning of my interest and life on HRT, alongside maintaining longevity and general fitness.
P.S.—This is NOT medical advice. I am NOT suggesting you do what I did and am NOT promoting the use of anabolics. Consult your doctor if you feel you may need HRT.
P.S.S. I AM NOT NATTY, I will never say I am natty, lie, or be dishonest in general about anything. The fitness industry is ripe with these types, and I find it very strange. Moreover, I stand by this statement with regards to every aspect of my life--I may joke, be sarcastic, or play around, but I will never seriously state something I know to be untrue with the goal of convincing someone else otherwise.
Never.
A full article detailing my experience from first cycle to transitioning to TRT is currently in the works.
If any of this sounds interesting to you, you're in the right place.
This is a website dedicated to helping YOU take complete control of your health.
As stated above, I discuss Gut Health, HRT, Longevity, Bodybuilding, and Fitness and how they ultimately tie into our overall goal:
The best physique and health possible, in the least amount of time, with little-to-no chance of injury.
I have made A LOT of mistakes along the way, and if I can prevent you from making any of them, I've done my job.
I have found many websites and blogs in this space are written by folks who haven't truly been there before, or they’re liars.
And I can promise you, I’ve both ‘been there’ AND will NEVER lie to you.
I only restate this because, again, the fitness industry is notorious for the dishonest types and exaggeration of all kinds.
My bodybuilding and gut health journey has included things like…
Sleepless nights.
Periods where I was unable to eat anything (without intense intestinal pain!).
Never surpassing 25 Lbs. plates on the bench press for months on end.
Attempting to make progress using bogus, high volume steroid-user routines.
Feeling like death from a crappy TRT protocol.
Obsessing over meal timing.
You name it, I've probably experienced it.
If you'd like to learn more about my personal story, I have an article in the works that will be available soon.
I'll leave you with this: I'm passionate about all of the aforementioned topics, I'm not natty and will always ensure you hear the truth with respect to any topic in the fitness industry, and I WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU.
If there is a question you have, something you want me to write about or discuss, you have a suggestion of any sort, or you just want to chat, let me know--either on my socials or leaving a comment--I'm a people person through and through.
Your Pal,
-Alexander Smout
